DIGITAL HEALTH | This week saw Michelle King from our Cairns office team up with Deaf Services Queensland to deliver My Health Record training for members of the deaf community.

People were happy to know that they could see things such as medications and discharge summaries in their digital health record, and would not have to repeat their health history should they change GPs or be traveling.

They took the opportunity to ask questions and were also happy to know they could appoint a family member to help control the record. One women pointed out that it would even help with her children and grandchildren, should genetic health information need to be traced in the future.
